Une Goute De Notre Epoque is a powerful social photography project by Kerim Knight, focused on breaking down negative perceptions surrounding migrants and refugees in Europe. The project was created in collaboration with La Centre de La Roseraie, a Geneva-based centre that supports the social integration of migrants.
In this project, refugees and migrants are photographed submerged in water—a symbol of fluidity, resilience, and survival. Each portrait captures the strength, vulnerability, and humanity of the subjects, challenging preconceived ideas about their place in society.
First exhibited at the Geneva Photo Festival as part of Nos Photos, the project was met with great success and continues to be exhibited throughout Switzerland. Une Goute De Notre Epoque has been publicly featured in various locations, including Cité Senior and outdoor spaces across Geneva.
This project not only highlights the social realities faced by migrants but also serves as a visual testament to their strength and the importance of social integration.
