L’eau Dans Tous Ses États - 8 Oct - 10 Dec 2019

This autumn we start off with a workshop designed to to be exhibited with Cite Senior’s end of year program about the environment. This is going to be a challenge. The participants will have to photograph water and a subject within tha, a subject in which they believe reflects their view on climate change and our daily lives. – I love how we can be so dynamic with La Ville De Genève.

Free to all, this workshop covers environmental photographers and how their work reflects the climate crises and what is going in 2019. Be is fracking or politcal statements.  The participants have to take photos around/in Geneva. The workshops is for participants with mobile phones or stand alone cameras and will have an exhibition December 12th at Cite Senior. The workshops content covers:

  • Week 1:
    • What is the workshop “l’eau dans tous ses états” about.
    • Who is Kerim Knight? Who I am as a commercial & editorial photographer and my work.

    • Class Critique. Practical work from the previous week.

  • Week 4:
    • Camera Gear: It’s the gear you own, it’s knowing how to use what you have.
    • Basics in Photography theory.
    • Class Critique. Practical work from the previous week. – Shooting Through Objects.

    • Guest Photographer: Nathalie Karpushenko presents her work and how she shoots.

  • Week 5:
    • Class Critique. Practical work from the previous week. – Sub-framing & reflections.

  • Week 6:
    • How Cull: Selecting and choosing which images to show.
    • Final Selection of images for Exhibition.
